Most common type of warehouse racking.

Selective Pallet Racking System is one of the most widely used systems for storing palletized unit loads. Within the rack, each pallet is individually accessible. Pallet Racking arranged in a wide aisle pattern requires no specialized handling equipment. When arranged this way, it provides high-quality storage but may only utilize 40% of the floor space.

Selective Pallet Racking provides direct access to every pallet in storage. For low turnover volume and high differentiation product lines, this type of racking is a must. However, fast throughput and ease of loading and unloading make this type of storage extremely popular.

Widely used in food, drink industry, and also be welcome by cold storage.

Drive-in Pallet Racking provides maximum storage capacity using the minimum amount of space. It is particularly suited to store a very large quantity of the same product. Loading and unloading are undertaken by means of counterbalance truck or reach-trucks that drives down each lane into the racks.

Increases warehouse capacity by up to 30% compared to “single-deep” warehouse operations.

This type of racking therefore requires specialised pallet handling equipment using ether a specialised forklift or a standard unit a with double deep handling attachment.

Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) racking systems make full use of roof height too, to increase storage capacity. VNA pallet racks are placed much closer compared to other racking systems, fully utilising both area space and height.

This system is designed to provide high-density storage with total selectivity. VNA pallets can be accessed with special VNA trucks guided by rails or wire induction system built into the floor.
